Create a listing to attract visitors
Easily create a quality multi-lingual listing of your accommodation, business or nearby tourist attraction here. Please ensure your listings are as complete as possible before submission, as they are checked and will be rejected if incomplete. Listing Help is available below to assist with filling out the form (located below the form on mobile devices). More help can be found in our Help Centre.

Listing Type
Please choose the correct type for your listing. For attractions that are both paid and free to visitors (such as an optional entry fee), and recurring events such as markets, choose “Free”.
Category
You can choose more than one category if it makes sense to do so. The first one listed becomes the “Default” which determines the map icon. There is no benefit in choosing unrelated categories.
Add phone and email (STD only)
Add the contact details that you want visitors to use to contact you. These are displayed on business and accommodation listings only.
Website (STD only)
Add the site where you want visitors to go to make bookings, etc, with the format https://name.co.nz. Once we’ve verified it, this cannot be changed.
Listing title
Choose the name that is closest to how your place or business is known elsewhere. An Airbnb, for example, should have the same name as that which is on the Airbnb platform.Â
Listing text
Write around 200 words to describe the place or business. You can’t copy someone else’s work but you can use Chatgpt or other AI products to make it interesting and engaging. Use subtitles, line-breaks, and other editing tools to make your listing easy to read.
Listing address
Type the address and select it from the dropdown. Alternatively, drag the marker on the map. Use the map zoom to show the location in a meaningful way. The zoom you choose is what visitors see.
Ensure the correct location is shown in the address bar.
For BnB listings, the location is shown but the physical address is hidden from visitors. For natural features, only the approximate location is shown to visitors.
Add images
You can add up to 9 images to your listing by choosing them from a file (click “Select”), or dragging them into the image uploading area. Drag them to rearrange the order. The first image is used as the main image.
For best display results, choose landscape photos with large file sizes and .JPG or .jpeg file types. Web browsers can’t read iPhone image files so save them as .jpeg or .JPG before being uploading them.
For best Search Engine Optimization (SEO), rename the files with a sensible name before uploading them. For example, rename the photo of your BnB’s kitchen as “yourbnbname-kitchen.jpeg”.
Add your business hours (STD only)
If you have a business listing, share your opening hours here (click “Yes” to start. You can update them anytime. The timezone is set for all of New Zealand automatically and doesn’t need to be changed.
Add special offers (STD only)
These are optional and displayed on Business listings.
