Tours run every day except Christmas Day, from 8:45am to 5:00pm. The main Wētā Workshop Experiences Tour takes about 90 minutes and starts from around $59 per adult, with family passes available. Booking ahead is recommended, especially during school holidays and summer, and you should arrive 15 minutes before your tour.

Getting There

Wētā Workshop is in Miramar, about 20 minutes from the city centre and 5 minutes from Wellington Airport, making it an easy first or last stop on a Wellington trip. The No. 2 Miramar bus stops on Darlington Road, a short walk away. Free on-street parking is available but limited.
